LOOKING FORWARD TO THE FINAL!

In many ways this month has been a busy one for the SPAA - amongst other things, we have had 3 fantastic Heats for the Quiz in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen. We now have 10 teams from all over Scotland ready to do battle in the final in Glasgow on the 2nd of June. I've got to say that I've been very impressed, not only by the number and quality of teams who turned out to the Heats, but also the fantastic support and prizes from the sponsors at these events.

The winners of this week's quiz final can expect everything from flights to anywhere in America courtesy of  American Airlines, a weekend in the Lakes and Mountains c/o Specialist Holiday Group or even a bunch of Go Pro cameras c/o Hurtigruten.  I know it's going to be an interesting and hard fought contest, I would just like to take this opportunity to wish all the teams good luck in the Final on Thursday night!
 
The Summer Ball is our next 'big event' and I hope to see as many of you as possible at the Old Fruit Market in Glasgow's Merchant City on the 16th of June. It's the most relaxed and informal of our events and this is reflected this year in the 'smart casual' dress code.
It's a great City Centre venue and again we look forward to a great night catching up with old friends and dancing till you drop...

Delta Air Lines has commenced direct daily service between Edinburgh + New York JFK.
The new service ensures passengers will be offered even greater choice in direct routes to New York and greater connectivity across all of North America via Delta's extensive network and strong Sky Team alliance at New York JFK.
The aircraft will offer all passengers access to on-demand in-flight entertainment and Wi-Fi connectivity. Those travelling in the Delta One cabin will also benefit from full flat-bed seats and a range of personalised dining options.
