Nowadays, every hour seems to bring an endless stream of 'news' to us - in the papers, on tv and radio and more and more on social media. Is it all real, hard news, though, or do we need to spend valuable time filtering it? I can remember a time when 'real news' was every comma put out by the BBC - no ifs and no buts. Now, there are 000's of news platforms pumping out material, and who knows which are credible?
Just in the past 48 hours, Thomas Cook has apparently had to deal with fake news - a Facebook prank which questioned the company's financial stability. Not clever and not a bit funny in any circumstances, but especially given TC's real fight-back to growth in the past couple of years... clickto read on!
