Dear Colleagues:
As a friendly reminder, we will be going through a transition in Medicare with our Jurisdiction changing from J1 to JE and, along with the jurisdictional name change, a change in our carrier from Palmetto GBA to Noridian. The transition dates are for Part A and for Part B. Both Palmetto and Noridian have repeatedly pledged to provide a smooth transition.
Recently, I attended a meet and greet session provided by Noridian on July 18, 2013 which was very informative. They have been traveling around the state holding these meet and greet sessions for all who are interested.
In case neither you nor your billing staff has been able to attend any of these sessions, below are some notes I took listing some of the highlights of the meet and greet session. I have also included a copy of the handout from the session and a copy of the slides from their presentation. I hope you find this information useful.
Sincerely,
Mark Yeh, MD
Alternate CAC member for CRS
