A Message from Matt
As much as I am looking forward to the fall season, it is tough to get in the mood with this incredibly hot weather. We are literally sweating as we approach the finish line of a very good 2015. If this is a horse race we are turning the corner and headed down the back stretch. We may not win the Triple Crown this year but we know 2016 will be record-setting.

It seems every year we start planning our holiday party, client gifts, and our "how do you top last year's?" holiday card earlier and earlier. This year's card is already in the can and I think it's one of our best! Thanks to Lindsay, Katie and the whole team for getting in the spirit.

We are also getting ready for our DOS Romy Linde to be a mom for the second time. Romy does the work of 5 people but the whole sales team is ready to kick it into high gear and pick up the slack until she returns. Enjoy the Fall!

Teambuilding Spotlight: Creative Culinary Challenges
Can you believe two decades have passed since the original Iron Chef television show first aired in the United States?! That show and other cooking channel favorites created an insatiable appetite for culinary teambuilding events in the destination management industry that continues to this day. The Event Team's menu of cooking challenges has grown extensively over the years to highlight our Southern California destinations, accommodate pop culture trends, and most importantly, to meet our client's goals and objectives. Find out how to save on five of our mouth-watering favorites!

Giving Back: Third Quarter Book Report
In the beginning of 2015, The Event Team announced our annual Book Give Back Program, where we committed to donating one book to our local Boys and Girls Club for every piece of business in 2015. Our first book report back in March showed that The Event Team destination management company had operated 62 programs in the first quarter alone. Six months later, we're happy to report that number has climbed to 141 programs already operated, with at least 20 more Southern California events on the books for the fourth quarter!

Our team is enjoying picking out and reminiscing over our favorite titles. Did any of us happen to pick your favorite childhood book?
