A Compilation of Community News You Can Use

March 2, 2014

Happy March!

Here's hoping spring weather is coming to NoCo soon! While I'm a pretty hearty year-round bicycle commuter and outdoor enthusiast, I can honestly say I'm sick of the cold and battling the ice. So instead of going for a bike ride on this wintry day, I'm sending you the NEWS!

I hope you notice my attempt to shorten this newsletter just a bit (the last issue was really long!). I try not to repeat information so much and won't post information too far in advance of an actual event. One category I hesitate to shorten, however, is the Funding Opportunities section. I would hate for you to miss out on seeing a grant for which to apply. There may be a few more changes, too. I'll keep you posted.

Also note that Caring & Sharing will be held at the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery (MOD), 408 Mason Court, this Friday, March 7, 9-10:30 a.m. I decided to have C&S one week earlier than normal so it doesn't interfere with anyone's spring break plans, including mine! So feel free to join your colleagues for a tour of the MOD to include a digital dome show! We'll also try to save time for you to share what's going on in your work.

In the meantime, happy reading!
