THE SIXTH SUNDAY AFTER PENTECOST 

Almighty God, you have built your Church upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone: Grant us so to be joined together in unity of spirit by their teaching, that we may be made a holy temple acceptable to you; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. I wanted to make you all aware that the Church of the Holy Trinity has a new Rector's Warden. Barbara Campbell has stepped forward to assume the responsibilities that John Smith has so ably handled over the past several years; John and Maureen are moving back to Bucks County, where the long commute will make it difficult to continue in his previous role. They will remain visitors to CHT and we will have an opportunity to officially thank John for his contributions to the parish. In the meantime, please congratulate Barbara on her new role in our collective life.

JOYFUL NOISE: ALL-AGE FAMILY EUCHARIST

On the first Sunday of each month, between the two regular celebrations of Eucharist, CHT offers a 35 minute, more informal Eucharist intended for all ages. 
 
Joyful Noise gives families an opportunity to worship together in a very relaxed atmosphere, and it also gives all members of the family of the church a chance to experience a different style of worship from time to time.
 
This service's simplified language is accessible to all, and the interactive sermon is conversational and engaging. Easy-to-learn songs are accompanied by instruments such as piano, guitar, violin, djembe, and even accordion!

RECTOR SEARCH AND DISCERNMENT UPDATES
Dear Friends,
 
As of June 19th, we will have completed field visits to 6 candidates, and by the time you read this, we will have identified 3 finalists who will visit with the committee and vestry in Philadelphia in the next few weeks. As a reminder, we are happy to discuss details about our process, but we cannot provide any information about candidates.
 
Continue to pray for our committee and for those who are considering whether God is calling them to join us in ministry.

CHT OUTREACH @ BROAD STREET MINISTRY

Please join our volunteer group at Broad Street Ministry on
Saturday, July 16th, from 10:45-1:30 pm!
 
BSM practices radical hospitality serving meals six times a week! They additionally provide mail services, clothing and personal care, art therapy, and, more importantly, a community for those at-risk.
 
CHT has worked with Broad Street Ministries since 2013 and currently pledges to provide five volunteers every third Saturday of the month.
