The Lincolnton-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce's 10th Annual Business Expo, Presented by The M Conley Company, will be held on October 3, 2013 at The Laboratory Mill. I am excited about several things concerning this year's Business Expo.
Reasons include: 1.) it will be the Chamber's 10th Annual Business Expo with 46 vendors and 25 of them are exhibiting for the first time. 2.) the expo will be held at a brand new and exciting venue, The Laboratory Mill, with new hours, 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm; 3.) this year's expo will include, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, a Business After Hours, sponsored by the LincolnCounty Historical Association; 4.) there will be more food vendors than ever before which includes the following: Fatz Café, Italianno's, Southern Charm Winery, Zippers Restaurant and Lounge, The Home Place Restaurant, Woodmill Winery, Inc., Race City BBQ & Grill, and Chuck Wagon Grill; 5.) the theme will be The History and Importance of Shopping Local; 6.) door prizes will be given away and a "Scavenger Hunt" will be conducted; and 7.) the expo will be broadcasted live by WLON Radio Station.
One thing not mentioned above is a "CASH GIVEAWAY" totaling $400.00. The first 100 people to register between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm will be eligible to win the cash prizes in varying amounts. Chamber members need to please note that this event is open to the public and admission is free. So, please mark your calendars to come to the Business Expo and plan to come early! There will be plenty of Chamber businesses exhibiting their products, great food and drink, and plenty of fellow Chamber members in which to network.
So, where is The Laboratory Mill? It is located at 848 South Fork Road in Lincolnton, NC. Just in case you don't know how to get there, a shuttle service will be provided, by Specialized Transport, for your convenience located at First Baptist Church in Lincolnton.
