Greetings!
During the last couple of months we have been busy, amongst other things, redesigning and improving our website, based on input from customers on how they would like it to work for them and including information on some new and enhanced services. You may have noticed that we have, too, changed the colour scheme of our Newsletter emails to co-ordinate with our new website colours. We have used colours that, according to research, people find easier on the eye when reading from a computer screen.
We are very pleased with the finished results and believe it works better for our customers. But don't just take our word for it. We would be very interested in any feedback you would like to give us, so do please contact us if you have any comments on either the website or the Newsletter, whether they are about how they look, how they work or the content. Let us know if there is anything else you feel should change or if there is anything missing that you would like to see included. Also during the last few months the UK Excellence Awards process has been taking place and will culminate in the presentation of awards to the winners at the annual Awards Ceremony, taking place this year on the 25th October 2012. See below for more details and a list of this year's finalists. As usual, during the Awards process some of ley hill solutions people have been leading assessment teams on behalf of the British Quality Foundation (BQF), who manage the process and host the annual ceremony. We have also supported several of the finalists in their applications so we wish them all well. We we will also be hosting a table at the Awards so if you are attending come and say hello. Our next newsletter will have news and photographs of the Awards Ceremony, as well as a full list of the winners and we will be tweeting live from the event, so follow us on Twitter to get up to the minute reports on the winners of each award. |

British Quality Foundation (BQF)
UK Excellence Awards Finalists
The UK Excellence Award finalists for 2012 are: -
- First Transpennine Express
- Interserve Construction Ltd
- Merseyside Probation Trust
- Northern Rail
- Wherry Housing Association
There will also be Achievement Awards in five main areas of operation of an organisation - Customer Satisfaction, Employee Engagement, Innovation, Leadership and Sustainable Future - as well as the Lean Six Sigma Awards and the BQF Gold Medal for Excellence. For more details about these and the complete list of finalists, see the BQF website.
We wish to congratulate all these organisations and wish them luck in the final stages of the award. The winners will be announced during the UK Excellence Award Ceremony, taking place on the evening of Thursday 25 October, at the InterContinental Hotel, Park Lane, London, in the presence of HRH The Princess Royal.

Improved ley hill solutions website
Based on feedback from our customers, we have recently improved our website to include, for the first time, a search facility to help you find precisely what you are looking for really quickly, rather than simply trawling through the website pages.
We have also improved the general lay-out of the site, again to make it easier for you to identify and find more information about appropriate solutions for problems or issues of concern to your organisation and how we might be able to help with those.
Finally, we have added information about some new solutions in our toolkit. We have always used a variety of internationally known tools and techniques to help our clients make improvements and enhance performance in all areas and aspects of their organistions. These are shown in the Toolkit section of our website. As we have grown ourselves as an organisation, widening our pool of associate consultants and likewise our collective experience and expertise, we have been able to offer more such items in our toolkit.
