Campaign Results to Date 

   

As of today, campaign now stands at $2,700,188, a pick-up of $170,000 in the past week. We have now reached 67% of our $4 million goal and are looking to reach 70% by the end of the week.

The 2012 Employee Campaign Coordinator Challenge-Results-to-Date!

 

So far, twenty-three companies and organizations have qualified to attend the ECC Recognition event sponsored by Think Mutual Bank! Eligibility was based on their achieving a goal of increasing their employee campaign by $4.00 times the number of employees. Their increased campaign results have helped to move us closer to our 2012 United Way campaign goal of $4 million dollars.

 

The event will be held Tuesday, November 27 from 5-7 pm at Cascade Meadows, (next to the Rochester Athletic Club) at 2900 19th Street NW. Light hors 'dourves, beer and wine will be served and catered by the Canadian Honker.   Entertainment will be provided by Thomas and the Rain. RSVP's are required on or before Monday, 11/19 at 5 pm to: rd@uwolmsted.org.

Based on the campaign dates shared with us by the ECC's we have many campaigns who are complete, but have not yet reported results. We want to see as many people as possible attend, so we are anxious to have your campaign results in order to send invitations out to all who qualify!  Please call the United Way office at 287-2000 if you need a pick-up.

IBM Speed Training University (Nov 27-29): Excel Beginner, Advanced And Consulting Sessions

 

Are you looking for a high-quality no cost training in Rochester? Look no further than IBM's Speed Training University!

 

As a part of IBM's Employee Charitable Contribution Campaign, IBM is offering free training on various business functions to help your nonprofit improve capacity AND your colleagues/employees increase their knowledge and skills

Training sessions include:

 

Microsoft Excel -

beginner (9 a.m. - 12 p.m. on 11/27, 11/28 & 11/29)

 

Microsoft Excel - intermediate/advanced (1-4 p.m. on 11/27 & 11/28)

 

Microsoft Excel -

consulting session (4-5 p.m. on 11/27 & 11/28 and 12-2 p.m. on 11/29)

 

All sessions will be held at IBM Briefing Center (building 025).  

 

Click here to register. You can sign up individually or as a group. All employees and volunteers affiliated with area nonprofits, faith organizations, service clubs and governmental agencies are welcome to attend. Registration deadline is November 20 at noon.
