Email invitations will be going out soon for those Employee Campaign Coordinators and their teams who reached their goal to qualify for the ECC Recognition event sponsored by Think Mutual Bank-watch for it!

Remember, to qualify your campaign has only to achieve the goal of increasing your total campaign over last year by $4.00 times the number of employees in your company or organization. We are looking forward to seeing you on Tuesday, November 27 at Cascade Meadow!

Campaign TIP of the Week

Caring Club and Campaign Awards Recognition

This week's campaign tip is a two-for-one!

For those campaigns in progress or who have not yet started, a great way to help build employee participation is to introduce the Caring Club card to your team.  Caring Club was created as a thank you to donors who give at least $156 per year to the Live United Community Fund, or a United Way initiative, such as Imagination Library. A home address must be provided with their e-pledge or pledge form so that the Caring Club card can be mailed directly to the donor. Last year over 3300 donors qualified to receive the card and their gifts totaled nearly $1.9 million. We would like to see that number continue to grow and add your name to the list! Our list of 2013 participating businesses is nearly complete-to check it out click here.

We feel strongly that companies and organizations should be recognized by their employees and peers for their support of United Way through the annual workforce campaign. Each year at our Celebration of Caring and Giving event we recognize exceptional campaign results. If you haven't completed your campaign there is still time to qualify for a campaign award by making that "extra" effort that will push your campaign over the top. Set a goal that will help you to achieve a higher award level and share it with your staff. Consider sharing a reward or incentive if your team makes it. It may seem like a small thing, but it's been proven to have a positive impact on campaign results. For a complete listing of all of the 2012 campaign awards and criteria, click here.

A friendly reminder-please do not mail your campaign envelopes.

Campaign Cabinet Volunteer at Community Food Response

On Monday evening, members of your United Way Campaign Cabinet helped with the Community Food Response distribution at Bethel Lutheran Church.

They also provided support in signing up recipients for the CISS (Community Information Sharing System) card, which helps speed up the process for clients to receive services by reducing intake time for both staff and clients, allowing for greater efficiency.

Cabinet volunteers helped to serve 119 individuals representing 349 family members.
