Campaign TIP of the Week

Campaign Dates

For those Employee Campaign Coordinators who have not yet started your campaign-Have you set your campaign start and end dates yet? In this busy world we all tend to work to deadlines. The simple act of setting your campaign dates and getting it on your calendar, might provide you the incentive to finalize your plans and launch your campaign!

There are many campaigns who we have not yet heard from.

When you finalize your campaign dates, of if they have changed, please communicate them to Neal Engelman at neale@uwolmsted.org or leave a phone message at 507-529-4505. This will allow us to better monitor the overall progress of campaign and we won't be calling you for campaign results when you haven't even started! J

Stay tuned for more updates!

Winter OuterWear

United Way's Winter OuterWear initiative has over 2,800 individuals registered to receive winter coats and accessories on October 18 & 19.  Our greatest need is youth boys coats (sizes 6-16) and youth girls coats (sizes 6-16).

We have over 1000 youth who are seeking winter coats and accessories ranging in sizes from 6-16.

Other high demand items include mittens, gloves, snow pants, boots, and adult sizes 3X and larger.

Please consider donating your new or gently used winter coats and outerwear items to this county-wide program. You can also see how this program runs first hand by volunteering during our distribution on October 18th and 19th at United Way.

Drop youth coats off at Fill the Truck on dates above or at United Way Services Building (903 West Center Street, Rochester) on October 16 from 8:30 am - 5 pm.
