The Art of the Brick features unexpected, awe-inspiring LEGOŽ sculptures by New York artist Nathan Sawaya. The exhibition will also include work from IN PIECES, a collaboration between Sawaya and Australian photographer Dean West of large-scale tableau compositions.

The Bedford Gallery Alcove Gallery will feature Became, an exhibition of work from San Francisco artist Jud Bergeron, whose playful, colorful, toy-like sculptures reflect on his experiences of becoming a parent.

Exhibition Reception: Thursday, October 8, 6 to 8 p.m.
General $7; Youth $3; Free for Friends of the Bedford. Wine and hors d'oeuvres hosted by the Bedford Gallery Guild.
     
Halloween Party: Friday, October 23, 2 to 5 p.m.
General $7; Youth $3. Come dressed in costume for a fun afternoon of LEGO-themed activities and refreshments.
     
BG Craft Fest: Saturday and Sunday, November 7 - 8, 10 to 4 p.m.
Free admission. Shop handmade gifts and foods from the best of Bay Area crafters and artisans.
 
Gallery Hours and Admission:
Open Tuesday - Sunday, 12 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. when there are evening performances in the Lesher Center for the Arts; General $7, Youth (5-17) $3, Children 4 and under are free. The Gallery will be closed October 2-3, November 11 & November 26-27.
