From the Executive Director Donate Today

Three weeks ago we shared with you Coming Attractions which included information about the independent films coming to broadcast this fall, thanks to your 2014 donation. We haven't heard from you yet, but by giving to the Vision Maker Media annual fund today, we will continue to bring inspiring Native stories to life in 2016! Won't you help us?

We appreciate your past support and hope you will consider supporting us again. Simply give online or mail a check to 1800 N 33rd St., Lincoln, NE 68503.

We've worked with some of the best Native producers and PBS stations across the country to bring you inspiring stories about overcoming adversity--stories of Natives who get strength from their families and culture to change the world for the better.

With your support, we can bring Native stories to the forefront of public dialogue. Together, we'll continue to engage audiences and be a catalyst for change in communities across the globe. We are the future of Native Media, and with your help, we can continue to educate, empower and inspire Native youth, filmmakers and America!

Your generous contribution in 2014 helped us to be able to offer more than 45 films to PBS stations for broadcast and premiered seven new documentaries--On Native Ground, Watchers of the North, Horse Tribe, Our Fires Still Burn, Spirit in Glass: Plateau Native Beadwork, Across the Creek and LaDonna Harris: Indian 101. These programs were broadcast more than 25,000 times.

We're working on bringing 10 more films to PBS in 2015: Yellow Fever, Crying
Earth Rise Up, Finding Refuge, Standing on Sacred Ground, The Road to Andersonville, Warrior Women, Rising Voices, Mayor of Shiprock, My Louisiana Love and The Dull Knifes: My Father & Me. Click here to watch a preview of the five films coming to broadcast this fall.

Please join me and many others who appreciate the importance of Native stories. With your support, we can do so much more to change the picture. We are the only ones doing this work and we can't do it without your help! Mail us a check or give online at visionmakermedia.org/donate today.
