Vision Maker Media is looking to partner American Indian and Alaska Native college students with Public Television stations to offer multiple summer or fall internships. Students interested in applying for this internship opportunity must apply online at visionmakermedia.org/intern by Tuesday, March 24, 2015.

NAJA, OU Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication, and Vision Maker Media will host the annual Native Media Summit March 26-27, 2015, at the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Okla.

 

Lunch will be provided for attendees during the event on Friday. Attendees should register in advance to ensure an accurate food count.

  

Thursday night there will be a reception and screening of the new episode of Native Oklahoma.  

  

Friday sessions include: 

  • Adapting NAJA Free Press Templates to Your Tribal Law
  • The Role of Tribal Media in the Revitalization of Native Languages
  • Social Media Tools and Strategies
  • Utilizing Social & Digital Media to Provide Authentic Indigenous Representation within Mainstream Media
