Film + Book Combos for Children
My Home
and Raccoon & Crawfish

Vision Maker Media has just added two short films for grade schoolers that include book versions of the stories so that children can be immersed in these traditional Oneida stories. In Oneida society, oral tradition is very important and represents the soul of the Oneida people. From generation to generation, children are taught Oneida traditional beliefs from an Elder who has the ability to speak with meaning and confidence. These stories will captivate children and adults alike with their rich images and moral stories.

Raccoon & Crawfish: An Oneida Legend (DVD + Book Combo): A 3D-animated story based on an oral tradition of the Oneida Indian Nation. Told with great effect, this is the story of a fateful meeting between a scheming crawfish and his mortal adversary, a hungry raccoon.
