Touring & Tasting Introduces New Marketing Services Division
As the clock struck midnight on December 31, 2013, Touring & Tasting Marketing and Media said goodbye to its best year ever, and hello to an even better one with the official launch of the company's new Marketing Services Division. This newly formed division is dedicated to providing clients with a full range of marketing solutions including development and execution of e-marketing and social media campaigns, data management, video production, photography and more.
"We've already been providing these services to many clients for a number of years now," says Touring & Tasting's Managing Partner Dan Fox. "With the explosive growth in the wine tourism industry, our client's needs are growing. We're uniquely able to help our wine country clients become more successful through our expertise and expanding resources."
Touring & Tasting Marketing and Media is the creator of the 19-year-old, bi-annual Touring & Tasting magazine, TouringandTasting.com, and partner in many of the nation's leading wine tourism conferences, festivals, and events. The company has built an enviable reputation over the years and caught Bill Foley's eye, the owner of Foley Family Wines, a major producer, marketer and distributor of highly acclaimed, handcrafted wines from many of the world's great vineyards. Impressed with the way Touring & Tasting addressed the needs of its wide variety of clients, Foley Family Wines approached the company and acquired a controlling interest in July 2013.
"When we joined forces with Foley Family Wines, our first task was to help coordinate the e-marketing and social media efforts of 13 wineries and launch The Foley Food & Wine Society," Fox explains. "This endeavor required an expansive campaign involving data targeting, data mining, data management, social media, e-marketing, and more. It was a great opportunity for us to apply our expertise to a variety of specific projects and deliver excellent, quantifiable results."
