Southwest Virginia's CIP: Collaborating Across School Divisions to Improve Student Learning

Public school divisions across Virginia are faced with the same challenge- how to absorb budget cuts and increased costs while addressing increased expectations for student achievement. Several school divisions in southwestern Virginia are approaching this challenge by pooling resources and talents to create the Comprehensive Instructional Program (CIP).  The CIP is a complete curriculum containing daily lesson plans, activities, instructional resources, and assessments that are all highly aligned to Virginia's curriculum frameworks.    Read more.....
