VASCD's Own Constitution Day
As a VASCD member, you probably never think about our Constitution. You may not even know we have a Constitution. Yet this document determines our governance structure, guides our decision making, and creates the foundation upon which we build a relevant, vibrant, and sustainable organization.
Recently, a committee has proposed several updates and changes to the Constitution, and these have been approved by the Board of Directors. We will ask members who are present at our annual membership meeting to approve this revised Constitution, as well as our budget for the coming year. You may read it here. The membership meeting will be held during breakfast at the 2014 Annual Conference on Dec. 5. We hope to see you there.
