VASCD is forming a Team of Advocates to assist in educating and influencing Virginia legislators in the interest of our students, teachers, and educational leaders. Our hope is to identify one VASCD member in the legislative district of each member of the Virginia House and Senate Education Committees. We'll offer these Advocates information, training, policy updates, and resources, and we will ask that they communicate regularly with one legislator on our behalf.
