Greetings!

December has come and gone, and perhaps many of you are sighing with relief that it has. I hope the 'silly season' was silly as in 'fun' rather than in being run off your feet , frazzled, sunburnt and regretting that extra serve of turkey and cranberry sauce.

I took an early break to look at a new site in Bridgetown and spend some time soaking up the view at Yallingup. It was a worthwhile strategy as I avoided the crowds, and came back refreshed to be able to design in peace while every one else had gone on holiday. It ended up being a very productive time, and hopefully sets the tone for 2013 which is looking to be a bumper year for us. I will share some of the projects I have been working on in the next newsletter, when everyone has had a chance to 'get back into the swing' and have emptied their overflowing inboxes!

So as not to overload them any more, this newsletter will be short and sweet, but hopefully valuable as well. Hope to catch up with you in 2013!

Meet the Green Team - People making a difference
A look in the mirror - John Damant interviewed by Builders Choice magazine.
Introducing you to the team, it is time to be introspective and let you know a bit more about myself, my background and my vision for Arcologic. I was recently interviewed by Builders Choice Magazine about exactly those issues, so if you want to know a bit more about what makes me tick, click on the link below to read the article.

The Final Word
How about this for a realistic New Year's resolution ?

It's that time of year again when racked by guilt by over-indulgence during the holidays we invent all kind of impossible New Year resolutions. I kind of like the sentiment above, which goes in the face of our consumerist society and could become a great rallying cry for the sustainability cause. It's not so much about doing without, perhaps more about being grateful for what we have, and also doing more ... with less.

We sincerely hope you have a wonderful and successful 2013 and achieve great things in what you put your mind to.

sustainably yours,
'the green team' at arcologic.
