2016 Alumni Award winner announced

The Alumni Association is proud to announce that it has selected Dr. Rosa Cooper '04 as the recipient of the 2016 Wong Moss Outstanding Alumni Award.  

Dr. Cooper is a Nursing Supervisor in the Pediatric Unit for Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital located in Allentown, Pennsylvania.  She has received three degrees since graduating from the College, including her Doctorate in Nursing Practice last summer, and always finds time to volunteer in her community.

Call for Entries: 2016 Alumni Artists Showcase  
The College will host the Alumni Artists Showcase, June 1-30 at the Gallery on the Marple Campus.  This is a juried exhibition featuring original artwork created by alumni across a variety of media and subject matter.  Artists may now submit their entries online at  www.dccc.edu/call-artists as well as pay their entry fee and learn more about the showcase details. Alumni are encouraged to submit up to five pieces of original artwork created within the last three years before the entry deadline of May 1.

On-Campus Career Fair, April 20
The Student Employment Services & Co-op Center is hosting a career fair on Wednesday, April 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the STEM Center Lobby at the Marple Campus. Last year more than 65 area employers were on hand to meet with students and alumni looking for full-time employment opportunities. Attendees are asked to dress professionally and bring several copies of their resume with them. For a list of participating employers and openings, visit www.dccc.edu/careerfair.

Paralegal Networking Reception, April 21
The Alumni Association invites all of our paralegal graduates to join us for a networking event hosted by Keeley Mitchell, Esq., Director of Paralegal Studies, on Thursday, April 21 at 5:30 p.m. atTeca in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania. If you would like more information, please send an email to [email protected].

Lou Scott Golf Classic, June 7
The College will host the Annual Lou Scott Golf Classic on Tuesday, June 7, at The Golf Course at Glen Mills. Proceeds from the outing fund the Louis W. Scott III Memorial Scholarship, which honors the memory of the former principal of Penncrest High School. The outing has provided 71 scholarships to students since 2001. Connections 
 
The Alumni Office is proud to share the story of the Nee Family, including Thomas Sr., Thomas Jr. and Chris, who are a fine example of legacy graduates.  

Each member of the Nee Family has a unique story, but all three are proud to say they graduated from the College. Thomas Sr. helps keep his neighborhood safe, Chris enjoys making people laugh and both he and Thomas Jr. operate a non-profit organization to help children fighting cancer.
