Angel Trees
Be a Christmas Miracle to a Youth in KYJO Foster Care

KYJO Angel Trees tagged with Wishes at various locations will aid in providing a Christmas Wish for children in the KYJO Foster Care program...

Would you like to host a KYJO Angel Tree at your place of business?

The KYJO Angel Trees hold "ornaments" which detail the gift a child in our care would love to receive this Christmas. Your customers, clients, vendors and friends would be able to take an ornament and purchase the gift for a child and return it to your business. That's it! We would come and pick up the tree and gifts just before Christmas, wrap them and make sure these children in out-of-home care have a very Merry Christmas.

Contact Bibi Carrasco at (661) 428-2915 or Email: Bibi@kyjo.org for details to make arrangements.

Graduates and Testimonials
Within three months we graduated seven of our residents: Johnny, Ralph, Donald, Jose, Lawrence, Yamani and Nicholas. Below are some testimonials from the graduates.

"I went to places I never been to and maybe would of never did but this group home got me there. They show you how to get ready with your life and how to find a job. To be real, this group home really made me see the world differently."
-15 years old, male, Sacramento County, September 2012

"I learned to be smart, stay on your toes and that group homes are not for everyone. Also, even if you do or don't have a family at home, you'll always have a family with KYJO
-17 years old, male, Sacramento County, October 2012

"Dear Kevin Jordan,
My stay at KYJO has been nothing but amazing. I truly loved being here even though I got myself into trouble more times than I can count. This program has taught many things that I will be able to take with me when I leave. For instance I have learned to be more of a man and be a self-starter rather than a follower. I have learned to be more respectful and to be able to prove myself and my case. The outings have been great and working with KYJO staff has been very fun and it has been enjoyable. I have learned that nothing is more important than being responsible and taking responsibility for your own actions. All of the Fresno State outings have been amazing and have been very fun to work at. Volunteering for KYJO has been really fun. I enjoyed the "Becoming A Man" sessions and how much I learned that the streets are not for everyone. I enjoyed everything about KYJO and the Staff. I hope that I can carry most of the things I have learned from this program with me. Thank you for giving me a chance to become a man and prove myself."
