New Year - New You
It's a tradition that most of us start thinking about making 'New Year's Resolutions'. However, we find that most of these resolutions get lost in the busyness of our daily lives, and oftentimes make us feel like failures for not achieving them.
So let's ring out the old and invite in the new. As we say goodbye to one year, we can look forward to the hope and possibilities of another one.
Let's make a promise to take care of ourselves on all levels - physically, mentally, spiritually, financially and emotionally. We can decide to make ourselves a priority and live life more fully. This will require us to think differently - and maybe that is one promise we can keep. To believe that we are responsible for our own lives, and can do our best - one step, one day, at a time.
Wishing you a most Joyful New Year!

Making A Difference
Thank you to all of the Support Group participants who brought a gift for a child at the December Christmas Party.
We received a thank you note from Susan Walsh RNC, MSN, Director of Children's Services at Saint Elizabeth.
"On behalf of all our pediatric patients and their families, we thank you for the two large totes of stuffed animals. Your thoughtfulness and generosity are greatly appreciated by all of us. We give them to the children when we have to start IVs or draw lab work - the children hold them during the scary procedure."
It is good to give - for all of us receive much in return.
