Second-Story Pool With an Unbelievable View!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

A great way to start the new year is to report that business is booming at Nautilus Pools. However, our labor force is lacking--there is more work than there are workers, and that impacts production times.

If you're considering a new pool, we look forward to working with you, but be patient and plan well in advance.

Sincerely,

 Pete Coccaro

Second-Story Pool With an Unbelievable View

360-degree Infinity Edge Spa

Believe it or not, this pool is 12 feet above the beach.  The stunning views from every point of this outdoor space will lure you in, whether you want a late night swim, a soak in the spa, or a beverage beside the fire pit.

66' Lap lane from house to fire pit

There is a 66' lap lane at the far right of the pool, which is designed to wrap the shape of the house.  This lap lane continues from the house to the left side of the fire pit (pictured at the top of this newsletter).

Stepping Stones to Fire Pit and Spa

You will notice there are stepping stones from the deck, which lead you to the raised spa or the fire pit's seating area.

We used White Pearl Pebble Tec on the interior finish with glass tile at the waterline.  There is a 360-degree infinity edge spa, a sunken fire pit with built-in seating and floating stepping stones.  We used a Shellstone deck, installed by Tuscany Tile, that has been mudset and grouted.

Many of our dogs and cats won't pay attention to indoor or outdoor plants, but it is better to be safe than sorry.  Using bitter apple or bitter orange spray on your plants will discourage pets from eating them.  If you suspect your pet has ingested a suspicious plant, contact your vet right away.

Heat Pumps ...

Yes, it's that time
of year again!

If you already have a heat pump and you hear the weather forecast is for cooler weather in upcoming days, 3 days in advance turn on the heat pump to get it up to temperature.

Also, if you find that you  need service on your heat pump, this will give you some time to call us and have it taken care of.

To eliminate heat loss and evaporation you must use a pool blanket at night when using the heat pump.  The heat pump operates like a thermostat on an air conditioner - auto on and off all day long to get to the desired temperatures.

"A heat pump is a reverse A/C."  It will produce about 6 gallons of water every day, so if the concrete pad is wet, don't worry. It's just condensing the water (like your A/C).

Don't have a heat pump? Give us a call...
