Recently Girl Scout Troop 28 coordinated an art project for kids in foster care (and former foster children) to have an opportunity to brighten a spot at the Jimmy Everest Cancer Center for Children at OU Hospital. 

 Many girls in the group are former foster children or have foster or former foster children in their families. 

Troop 28 also collected more than 200 backpacks to donate to the Oklahoma County Children's Emergency Shelter. 

Children who care about foster care become adults that care about foster care!

Troop 28 is making a difference! 

Most January resolutions are out of the way and many are focused on celebrating love this month for Valentine's Day! 

At OKFW we are excited about the opportunities before us in 2013! This year will be more of the same with a continued focus on bringing awareness and inspiring action for the foster care issue. We hope you will join us in doing the same! Wonder where to start?
