ATAC New Initiative @ Aviation Week's MRO Europe 2013
ATAC is again offering to facilitate MRO companies in their international business development and marketing. MRO Europe will take place in London, UK on September 25-26. In partnership with the Canadian High Commission in London, ATAC has made arrangements for a Canadian MRO booth, and is now soliciting interest for any Canadian MRO company that may wish to take advantage of this booth. For those "walking" the trade show this booth may be used for brochure distribution and as a meeting point. ATAC will be manning the booth and is available to facilitate B2B meetings for those attending or to act as a contact on behalf of those unable to attend in person. We are also planning a Canadian MRO Networking Event. Please let us know if you plan to attend the trade show and if you wish to have brochures distributed using our booth, if you wish ATAC to make contacts for you and/or if you wish to take part in sponsoring the networking Event.

FAA Proposes Large Increase to Overflight Fee
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has served notice that they intend to seek a large increase in their Overflight Fee. The fee is charged to aircraft overflying (but not landing) U.S. airspace. The fee was authorized in 1996 and ATAC fought and won two legal battles with the FAA. The last rate setting took place in 2004. ATAC will sit on a consultation group of airlines.
