Cape Cod Community College: Women's History Month Programming

Cape Cod Community College will be celebrating women's history month by showcasing a variety of female performers, both live and in concert, and through film. Local musician Molly Parmenter performs live on March 20. On March 21 a screening of the Tony Award- winning Broadway show Lena Horne; The Lady and Her Music will be held, and March 26 brings another live concert with folk and bluegrass artist Tripping Lilly. The festivities conclude March 28 with the film a Woman of Heart and Mind, exploring the compelling life of singer-songwriter Joni Mitchell. For more information visit Cape Cod website.

Meet the New York Times Best Selling Author Wes Moore. Two kids with the same name, living in the same city: One grew up to be a Rhodes Scholar, decorated combat veteran, White House Fellow, and business leader. The other is serving a life sentence in prison for felony murder. Here is the story of two boys and the journey of a generation, appropriate for ages 14 and up. Bridgewater State University: Center for Entrepreneurship Studies Business Plan Competition

Bridgewater State University will be hosting the 5th annual Center for Enrepreneurship Studies (CES) business plan competition. The event provides BSU students an opportunity to further explore their business ideas, work with helpful expert mentors, and even become eligible for cash and in-kind prizes. Last year's winner and now BSU alum Craig Rondeau reflected on his experience at the competition, "I was able to use that invaluable learning experience, coupled with the assistance of the CES, to help me develop a business plan I knew could succeed."
