Apologies for the late notice, however I only received word of Jordan's passing a short while ago.  Jordon Ansbacher passed away at the age of 88 last Thursday after a long battle with an illness.  As a lifelong Jacksonville resident, Jordan operated "Jordan Ansbacher Realty" for over 50 years here in town; as a member of SBMC since 1983.  He served his country proudly as an officer in the US Navy during both WWII and the Korean War.  While unable to attend regularly in recent years, I recall seeing Jordan a few times a year when we'd have a speaker or particular program in which he'd have an interest.  He was a generous contributor within the community to a variety of organizations including ours, Boy Scouts of America, Jacksonville Jewish Center and River Garden Hebrew Home to name a few.  Unfortunately services were held this afternoon, the family requests contributions be made to Jacksonville Jewish Center or a charity of your choice.  His obituary is below, many thanks for Jeanne Maron for bringing this to our attentions.
