RE:                 SBMC PAC 2015 City Council Endorsements-                            Unitary Election

Over the past few weeks the SBMC PAC Board has been researching candidates running for City Council and Mayor as well as reviewing answers to questionnaires for each race.  Our city needs strong leadership and the time for looking towards our future is long overdue.  For our City to move forward we understand there may need to be additional revenue sources; all candidates were given this expectation to keep in mind when responding.  Topics included Port Expansion, Infrastructure improvement, Education, Community Involvement, HRO, Downtown Development, and plans to remove hindrances on businesses from growing in Jacksonville were the focus of the questionnaire.  SBMC PAC's Board has chosen to endorse the following candidates for City Council:

Council At Large Group 4-Greg Anderson

City Council District 3-Aaron Bowman

City Council District 5-Lori Boyer

City Council District 6-Matt Schellenberg

City Council District 9-Garrett Dennis

City Council District 11-Danny Becton

City Council District 12-Doyle Carter

City Council District 13-Bill Gulliford

City Council District 14-Jim Love

The remaining City Council seats as well as Mayoral and Sheriff races will be revisited based on the remaining candidates following the First Election.
