Today is the last day to purchase your tickets to the SBMC Holiday Gala! We have a wonderful event planned this year at Deercreek Country Club. Join us for dinner, dancing, and Holiday Cheer all evening long! I so look forward to this event every year. I get to buy a new dress, and Tim gets to air out his tuxedo. Please join us as we celebrate another great year in the history of club.

You can purchase your tickets to the Gala by going to www.sbmcjax.com, click on the Holiday Gala under upcoming events. If you have any problems, please feel free to call me personally.

Last week The Metro Diner held a "soft opening" for its new location at Southside and Baymeadows. John Davoli graciously allowed us to collect donations at the door the benefit our Childrens Christmas Shopping Spree. It was announced on Wednesday that over $4000 was raised that day! Our children come through the Davis Center, and because of the generosity of John and Metro Diner, we will be able to help establish a clinic in the center to benefit the children.

Our speaker this week is Crump Kirby, our SBMC Club Historian. Our club has had so many accomplishments over the past 82 years. I promise that this will be fascinating and that you will learn so much about the SBMC from this meeting.

HOLIDAY GALA

GOLF OUTING

SBMC MONTHLY GOLF OUTING - FRIDAY, DECEMBER 12th AT CIMARRONE GOLF CLUB

Our next Southside Business Men's Club (SBMC) golf outing will be at Cimarrone Golf Club on Friday, December 12th with a start time at 12:00 noon. Since December is an expensive month for many of us, we've tried to keep cost down for this outing and the fee will only be $29.00 (plus tax) per participant.

Players of all abilities will enjoy Cimarrone's championship layout. Designed by renowned architect David Postlethwait, the manicured course conditions and challenging design provides a fun, player-friendly experience for all golfers. You will enjoy Cimaronne's well-defined fairways and excellent greens as well as appreciate numerous risk-reward opportunities provided by strategically placed bunkers and many water and marsh features.

We have room for a maximum of 32 players. If you want to join us please contact me at 904-403-6754 or [email protected] to reserve your spot(s).

There are 2015 spotlight speaker dates available!  The book is at the sign-in table at each meeting.

This is free to all members in good standing and gives you the opportunity to talk about your business, family, interests, or anything else you would like to talk about for five minutes.  You are also able to put out business cards, flyers, or informational materials on the tables to showcase your business.

Pick your date before they fill up!

We also ask for volunteers to help us start our meetings to get us thinking about what is really important and what is behind whatever success we have achieved - God and Country.

If you have a calling to lead us in prayer/invocation or the pledge of allegiance, please either call or sign up in the spotlight speaker book.
