PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Jepp Walter, SBMC 2013 President Jepp Walter, President
Southside Business Men's Club

(904) 838-8400

Last week we had our Annual Beer Tasting!  We had Brewmaster Brian Derr from the Anheuser Busch brewery in Jacksonville.  The tastings were nice, his education on beer making was extraordinary, and the questions were in abundance!  Everyone enjoyed it.

Please remember to come to the final float building gathering under the University Blvd overpass at Philips Highway.  It's a great way to give back to the club, and get to know new friends and business acquaintances at the same time!

This week we will have Duval County Public School Superintendent Nicolai Vitti as our Guest Speaker.  It should be very informative, and educational!  Invite your friends and colleagues to this great meeting.

Thanks everyone, and I'll see you Wednesday.

Jepp

VETERAN'S DAY FLOAT

LAST CHANCE!

This is the last Tuesday Float meeting and we'll be planning for the big day needing volunteers to reassemble and participate in the festivities on November 11th.  For the past several Tuesdays we've had the pleasure of getting to know some of our newest members, were you one of them?  We need your help this Tuesday evening at
5:30 PM at 4115 University Blvd W (in the warehouse under the bridge).  Food and beverages will be provided. You are welcome to BYOB.  YOUR PARTICIPATION IS VERY IMPORTANT AS THIS REQUIRES SEVERAL VOLUNTEERS TO COMPLETE THE PROJECT!  BBQ Master Tom Kennedy will help us close out this outstanding event with his delicious cooking that's always impressive.....what will it be?  Come join us to find out!

Please contact the following members if you have any questions or interest in participating, or just SHOW UP!
