Last week we had a wonderful talk by the CEO of JEA, Paul McElroy. It was very informative, and Paul is a wonderful speaker. Made you feel proud to have a utility that is representing Jacksonville so well. I'd like to thank Rose Jackson with Lemee Florist, as she was our spotlight speaker and brought a plethora of flower arrangements that she let us auction off during the door prizes. Thanks to Rose, we brought in almost $400!! That was very nice of Rose, and she contributes to the club regularly, I appreciate her activity in our club so much. We also had a HUGE incoming 'freshman class' of new members, and Past President John Hamel not only did the orientation, but also the induction. I appreciate John's help so much, as he was additionally the lone auctioneer for the large amount of door prizes we had. This week we have John Palumbo, who actually visited as a guest last week. He will be telling us stories of his adventures from around the world, and promises to be a very interesting speaker for us. Thank you all for coming, as the attendance has been wonderful lately. We have a lot of events going on, so keep on inviting your guests! We'll see you Wednesday. Jepp

We are going on a River Cruise aboard the FOXY LADY, the very pretty white yacht you may have seen out in front of River City Brewing Company. Get out and enjoy A great time with your fellow members and enjoy the River City.
The first 40 members to register get a special price of 25.00 per person. After 40, the rate is still only $38.00 per person. This includes a wonderful 2 hour Cruise up & down the St. Johns River, Hors d'oeuvers and Happy Hour pricing ( Cash Bar).
