This past week we were visited by Jeff Bouchy with the Jacksonville Sharks. It is exciting to have such a talented team in our town. To know they have won EVERY season for their division thus far is incredible, and says a lot for the ownership and coaching of our Sharks.
We have a LOT of events coming up, with the scheduled Fishing Trip this past weekend, a Golf Outing at Palencia this week, a meet a member coming up in early August and more!
I tried to give away some cash to a new member this past week, asking the ones that had been a member for under 6 months, if they knew who our club Treasurer was. We still have the cash in the box. Remember all officers and board members are in your directory, or on our website. Try to learn more about them, and you may win some money in the future.
This week we have Paul McElroy from the JEA as our guest speaker, and I've heard him before. It is very interesting, you will enjoy it. I'll see you all this Wednesday. Bring your guests!

SBMC Golf Outing

The next monthly SBMC golf outing is on Friday, July 19th at Palencia. This is one of the finest courses and facilities in our area. We still have 7 spots left. Save The Date! August 8th at 5:30-7:30 PM. The next Meet A Member is rapidly approaching! It is graciously hosted by Jack Manilla with Portofino Pools and held at Marywood on SR 13 in Fruit Cove. Come watch the sunset, enjoy beer, wine and appetizers for $5.00. Tickets will go on sale soon. This is not one to be missed!

We are going on a River Cruise aboard the FOXY LADY, the very pretty white yacht you may have seen out in front of River City Brewing Company. Get out and enjoy A great time with your fellow members and enjoy the River City.
The first 40 members to register get a special price of 25.00 per person. After 40, the rate is still only $38.00 per person. This includes a wonderful 2 hour Cruise up & down the St. Johns River, Hors d'oeuvers and Happy Hour pricing ( Cash Bar).
