Last week we had yet another great turnout. Our speaker was Sheriff John Rutherford, and he was as always, very informative. He spoke of the state of the city and crime, or lack thereof! We always enjoy hearing from John.
We also noted that members who put ads in the Directory are now allowed to get their ads online at our website, http://www.sbmcjax.com
There are links on the home page of our site that will point you in the right direction.
This week we will have NO meeting, I hope you all have a WONDERFUL 4th of July, and be safe out there!

MEMBERSHIP

A special Thanks to our membership for inviting friends and colleagues to join our club. All members are eligible to participate in and win our 2nd quarter membership drive contest. First prize is a Romantic over night away with dinner in St. Augustine. Second place is a special gift set of wine. Bring a guest to our next meeting and help our club help our community through our charitable endeavors.
So far, Denise Roth and Mike Russo are tied for the lead, with Arthur Rubin and Erin Eiras close on their heels! There is plenty of time to catch up, and now that our club's busiest month of the year is over, it's time to bring some visitors to our weekly meetings and recruit new members!

SBMC Golf Outing

Our next monthly golf outing is on Friday, July 26th at Palencia. This is one of the finest courses and facilities in our area. Cost is $50.00 plus tax and includes range balls. Save The Date! August 8th at 5:30-7:30 PM. The next Meet A Member is rapidly approaching! It is graciously hosted by Jack Manilla with Portofino Pools and held at Marywood on SR 13 in Fruit Cove. SBMC Evening River Cruise

We are going on a River Cruise aboard the FOXY LADY, the very pretty white yacht you may have seen out in front of River City Brewing Company. Get out and enjoy A great time with your fellow members and enjoy the River City.
Thursday August 15 at 6pm.
The first 40 members get special price of 24.95,
which includes a wonderful 2 hour Cruise up & down the St. Johns River. Includes Hors d'oeuvers and Happy Hour pricing ( Cash Bar). After the first 40 tickets are sold, it will be a regular price of 37.95 each.
