PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Jepp Walter, SBMC 2013 PresidentJepp Walter, President
Southside Business Men's Club

(904) 838-8400

Last week we heard from an Olympic Medalist!  Sergio Lopez gave a very motivational talk that I know has helped young swimmers improve their craft.  Sergio has definitely proven his value, and I know the Bolles School is proud to have him.

As we head into June, we have a Meet a Member coming up, as well as our annual Sharks game in partnership with the Downtown Council.  Following that is the Coke Zero 400 race in Daytona, and then our annual Fishing trip!  So our busy May is gone, but we still have plenty of club happenings about.

Our speaker this week will be Jerry Bussell who will talk about the Lean Consortium.  In short, the core idea is to maximize customer value while minimizing waste. Simply, lean means creating more value for customers with fewer resources.

I'll see you Wednesday!
