PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Jepp Walter, SBMC 2013 PresidentJepp Walter, President
Southside Business Men's Club

(904) 838-8400

Last week we heard from Bonnie Barnes with the North Florida Land Trust.  She really opened our eyes on how we are so fortunate to have a local organization that is watching over our wetlands, marshes, and other protected property.  They actually take care of the property as well as protect it.

We had the Beerfest on Friday, and I'd like to personally thank Mike White for the opportunity for our club to volunteer and bring funds in to our charities through his venue.  It is greatly appreciated.  I'd also like to thank 2nd Vice President Tim Howe, his chairmen Axel Von Loewenclau & Tripp House, and all of the volunteers that helped make this once again a great annual fundraiser, and a great event for our city.

Monday we have our major fundraiser, the Youth Achievers Program Charity Golf Classic, which is one of the best golf tournaments I've ever been a part of, and I have been in a LOT of golf tournaments.  Stay tuned to hear more about the results of this great tournament.

This week we have our own Bill Bishop, President of our City Council, as our speaker.  I hope you can attend!

I'll see you Wednesday!
