Dressed for Spring
As Andaluna and her friends know, Spring is time to shuffle and shine outdoors in our brightest colors and reconnect with "buds," old and new. I'm looking forward to new adventures and new projects, especially my upcoming workshops. A wonderful community always emerges at these gatherings as folks let stories that they have been keeping to themselves blossom into the world. (Brightly colored hats are optional.)

Ready to Tell?
There is just one opening left for "Taking Your Story to the Stage," a storytelling intensive for returning students with two public performance opportunities.
And everyone is invited to enjoy "A Slice of Life" performance by workshop participants on Sunday evening April 28 in downtown Asheville at The Altamont Theater. You can also catch the same storytellers telling at Wordfest on May 4, 2013.

In Good Company
I hope you will join us this summer's retreat for 7 days of story practice and performance, day-trips and discovery. Our week together is designed for all levels of expertise; from beginner to experienced teller. We find, develop, learn, tell and polish stories in a supportive and encouraging atmosphere. And I am delighted to announce that two nationally known storytellers are sharing their expertise during the week. Willy Claflin will join us for an afternoon session. We will also journey to Doug Elliott's magical homestead.
Watch this short video to get a glimpse of Doug's passion for nature and stories.
Register here for early bird discounts and check out this new option for reasonable Asheville housing. |

I love getting mail!
"I think one of the marvelous aspects of your workshops is that there is the kind of safe, nurturing and inspiring environment created which allows all of the participants to find within themselves a place in which they can truly be themselves at their creative best."
