If so, please make sure they know about the Job Fair going on today beginning at 8 a.m. (for veterans) and 8:30 a.m. (general job seekers) and continuing until noon at the College of Central Florida's Klein Conference Center in Ocala.

 

The Job Fair features 28 employers with jobs to fill. There is no charge to participate, for either job seekers or employers.

Community Development Grant Administrator 

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Planning or a related field. 

Duties: Management and oversight of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Entitlement Grants Program. Develop and maintain policies, procedures, contracts, forms and other items necessary for the administration of the grants program.

Experience: Three (3) years progressively responsible and professional experience in government programs related to housing, community development, or planning, two (2) years of which have been in a supervisory capacity

Wages: $53,123.20 - $84,531.20 annually.

Credentialer

Requirements:  Associate's degree, RN/LPN/CNA or Home Health Administrator Certification.

Duties: Process and maintain compliance for subcontracted healthcare workers, also assist with recruitment, scheduling of services, and general office requirements.

Experience:  Minimum two (2) years previous experience.

Wages: Depending on experience.

Media Relations Specialist

Requirements: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. A combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.

Duties: Writing and editing Sheriff's Office publications, news releases, and media alerts when appropriate. Develop and design radio, print, and TV advertising for the agency. Assist with coordination and execution of agency press conferences.

Experience: Five (5) years experience in public information, communications, law enforcement, marketing or related field.

Wages:  $38,600 - $59,830 per year, DOE.
