Seed Dormancy...

As Old as Seeds Themselves 

  

An international team of scientists, coordinated by a researcher from the University of Granada, has found that seed dormancy was a feature already present in the first seeds, 360 million years ago. Click HERE for more on dormancy and it's impact on the diversification of seed plants.
