Call for Auction Items:  Support IPPS whether you can attend in Niagara Falls or not!

The annual IPPS silent and live auctions are lively and fun social events as well as important fund raisers for the Eastern Region. Your donations are needed to keep our organization running smoothly!

Both auctions will be plant-free this year. Suggested contributions include company gift certificates, 'virtual' plants that the donor will ship to the winning bidder, horticultural supplies or artwork, books and other treasures that are more readily transported across the border. Click HERE for more auction details including two fantastic vacation packages that will be on the block. Click HERE to let us know what you plan to contribute.

Kill the Trees....

Before They Kill Us!

". . . what are trees except sharks with leaves instead of dorsal fins?" asks Canada's National Post in a recent editorial.  Or maybe "editorial" is using a bit of poetic license. Quick, someone check with Michael Yanny, IPPS Poet Laureate!  If things are a bit slow around ye ole tree ranch, public garden or campus in August, have a little fun reading this: Trees

POSTERS: You are invited to prepare a poster for this year's conference.  Share a practical tip or ingenious solution you use in your business or present the results of your research project.

We'll even print the poster for you this year! Click HERE for additional details, a poster how-to presentation, and the poster form.

NEW PLANTS: Enjoy this popular session which gives attendees an opportunity to introduce a new plant.  Contact Charles Tubesing if you have a new plant you would like to present: Ctubesing@holdenarb.org  or 440-602-3840. In keeping with the spirit of the IPPS motto To Seek & To Share, please consider participation in the New Plant Forum as a chance to share and not as an opportunity for commercialism.

 Our Mission
The mission of the IPPS Eastern Region is to provide a forum for education and information exchange among plant professionals.
