This Saturday, December 5
The annual All Saints' Holiday Craft Fair & Silent Auction is here!!! Be sure to come on down this Saturday, December 5, from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM. The fair, which is run by the Ke Akua Youth Group, is one of the largest craft fairs in Kapa'a, with over 70 booths featuring a variety of incredible crafts, art, clothes, toys, jewelry, quilts, gourmet items and much more, perfect for Christmas gift giving!

This is the youth group's biggest fundraiser of the year that helps fund their mission and outreach efforts. This year, the youth have chosen Laundry Love Kauai as their charity of choice for the Silent Auction, and with the help of the ECW, food booth proceeds will be going towards the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life event that takes place in April 2016.

So come on down, bring your appetites, get a lot of great shopping done and help support some worthy causes!
Holiday KISS Concert - December 6

Kauai Island Singers Showcase (KISS) celebrates their third year with another concert at All Saints' on Sunday, December 6, at 5:00 PM.  KISS presents an entertaining and eclectic mix of rock and blues music with some holiday songs, featuring 11 gifted singers, Hank Curtis on piano, Edd Cook on bass and Jim Fiore on drums. Concert is free! For more information, view the flyer below.
ECW Requests Gift Cards for Hale Ho'omalu
The ECW is asking for your help to make a collection of gift cards ($25 or less) along with a Christmas ornament that will be given to the Hale Hoʻomalu families for Christmas. The families will use the gift cards (with guidance from the Hale Hoʻomalu staff) to help them buy food and necessities. The ECW will be gathering on Sunday, December 13, to assemble and package the cards, so please bring your donation in before then. If you have any questions, please contact April Womack at 245-6413 or 822-3354.
ONGOING REMINDERS:
Saturday, December 12
Usher Orientation and Training Workshop

All Saints' will be holding an Usher Orientation and Training Workshop on Saturday, December 12, from 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM, for all current ushers and those interested in serving in this vital ministry. All ushers are urged to attend the workshop.

The ministry of welcome and connection is the lifeblood of growing our Church. Ushering is far more than handing out service programs and leis. When visitors arrive at All Saints' an usher is typically the first person to greet them. Ushers play an essential role in orienting visitors to All Saints', our worship services, our rich history and our beautiful island.

Ushers also support the worship experience and serve as an ambassador and liaison for the Vestry and Clergy on Sunday morning. Please consider this ministry. Anyone can be an usher and all are encouraged to attend the workshop. If you have any questions, please see Fr. Ryan or Mary Margaret Smith.

To be included in the Christmas program listing, please submit your donation by Tuesday, December 15. If you have any questions, contact Chris Wataya at 822-4267.

Aloha Keith and Ann!

The Revs. Keith and Ann McCollim got a taste of turkey at the KIA Thanksgiving Luncheon before heading back home to Australia.  Rev. Keith even took part in the interfaith service. Second Sunday of Advent
Merciful God, who sent your messengers the prophets to
preach repentance and prepare the way for our salvation:
Give us grace to heed their warnings and forsake our sins,
that we may greet with joy the coming of Jesus Christ our
Redeemer; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy
Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

WHAT'S BEEN HAPPENING AT ALL SAINTS':
THANKSGIVING BLESSINGS ABOUND!
Continuing it's record breaking numbers each year, the Kapa'a Interfaith Association's Thanksgiving Luncheon delivered 390 meals and served up 700 meals in the gym to some very happy (and hungry) patrons! Once again, Mark Oyama and his staff were fully prepared and up for the challenge, cooking up a fabulous turkey lunch with all the trimmings!

Prior to the luncheon, an interfaith service was held with some of the priests of the participating churches. Pictured above, the altar is decorated with a stunning harvest display; priests from the participating churches along with Rev. Keith McCollim from Australia (pictured at far left), who visits and serves on Kauaʻi each year with his wife Ann; and Courtney and Micah at the service.

Of course the event could never happen without the dozens of volunteers who turn out in force. Pictured above, they are greeted with a smile at the check-in table with Robin and Jayden Putnam and April Womack; taking on the challenging task of coordinating deliveries is Scott Sato and Leslie Womack; John Hanaoka has his arms full of packed meals; and Markʻs Place workers churn out hundreds of meals to be delivered.

Back in the gym, Mark Oyama (pictured second from left), takes a quick moment to pose with some of his crew; servers load up plates with delicious turkey and trimmings; the Ke Akua Youth Group was in charge of beverages, making sure everyone had enough juice and water.

Home-style entertainment was provided by several churches featuring musicians of all ages, including our own youth group member, Mason Tabura (second from left), warming up outside with his friend before their turn.

All Saints' representatives and organizers, Diane Sato (pictured above in lavender talking with Fr. Ryan) and Mary Margaret Smith (in pink at far right) extend their deepest gratitude for the support that was given by all to make this event so successful. The event is truly a community effort, with eight churches involved in the planning, fundraising, implementation and recruitment of the huge amount of volunteers needed to put this on.  We give thanks and praise for such a great event that brings so many from the community together.  Mahalo to Diane and Mary for their role in putting this together!
