Movie Nights on the lawn have begun and there are only two more dates left! Last week's event saw a great showing and an early sell-out of chili! Now in its 7th year, Movie Nights on the Lawn continues to serve the community by offering free double-feature movies and a concession that can feed a family of 4 for under $10! Yup! Dollar dogs, 50 cent popcorn, chili, SPAM musubi and loaded hot chocolate are just some of the ono grinds being served up by the Ke Akua Youth Group and ladies of the ECW. Stewardship: We are Made to Thrive!
Fr. Ryan, with the help of members of the Stewardship Committee, will host three 30-minute informal conversations on Sunday, October 25, in Memorial Hall. The focus of these gatherings will be All Saints' upcoming year-long stewardship campaign. Specifically, Fr. Ryan and the Stewardship Committee hope to have a conversation about what it means to be faithful stewards of our time, talents, and treasure. Each session will also include an opportunity to review the preliminary 2016 budget and a discussion about All Saints' financial stewardship goals.

On Wednesday of this week, Stewardship packets were mailed to our 'Ohana. Please take some time to read through all the materials. The congregation is encouraged to bring or mail their completed pledge card by Sunday, November 1, 2015 (or shortly thereafter).

At both services on November 1, we will celebrate All Saints' Day and a special liturgy that will include the ingathering and blessing of the 2016 pledges. All of the Stewardship information has been also posted to All Saints website and can be viewed by clicking on this link. If you do not receive your Stewardship packet in the next couple of days, please contact Chris Wataya; (808) 822-4267 or e-mail her

All Saints' Holiday Craft Fair Registration Open!
Space is filling up fast! Only a few more gym spots!

The annual All Saints' Holiday Craft Fair & Silent Auction will be taking place on Saturday, December 5, from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM. The fair, which is run by the Ke Akua Youth Group, has grown to one of the largest craft fairs in Kapa'a, with over 70 booth spaces featuring a variety of incredible crafts, art, clothes, toys, jewelry, quilts, gourmet items and much more, perfect for Christmas gift giving!

This is the youth group's biggest fundraiser of the year. Booth fees go towards their mission and outreach activities, and proceeds from the Silent Auction go towards charities they select each year. Money raised from the food booth is directed towards the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life event that takes place in the Spring in Hanapepe.

Registration for a spot in the fair is now open to the general public... early bird pricing is closed. Register online HERE. Hurry! Lawn spaces are available, but there are only a few more spots left in the gym.  For more information, view the flyer below, or visit the webpage HERE.
ECW October Special Collections for for Hale Ho'omalu
For the month of October, the ECW is requesting paper goods, paper towels and disposable baby diapers as part of their monthly special collection for Hale Ho'omalu, a family services center located a half-block away from the church.  Of course canned and packaged foods are always welcome. Monetary donations can also be made. All donations can be left in the red wagon at the church entrance.
Vestry Report Released

A few weeks ago, the Vestry participated in a retreat at Koke'e State Park, providing the opportunity, time, and space to prayerfully discern and discuss the future of All Saints'. A report has been compiled about the different ministries, activities and programs that were discussed, and will be explored and implemented over the next 16 months. Members are invited to join in the conversation and share your thoughts with the Vestry. Copies of the report have been mailed out to members and are also available to download HERE. Copies are also available in the Church and Church office.
Nursery & Sunday School Volunteers Needed
No Experience Necessary!

The Sunday school program is still in need of a couple more volunteers who are willing to assist our new program leaders in each of the three areas: Nursery (PreK & under), grades K-2, and grades 3-5. Volunteers can choose to participate regularly or on a rotation/on-call basis one Sunday a month. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!  If you like working with children and would like to nurture their faith and knowledge of Jesus and the Bible, please consider joining this wonderful ministry!  Please see Sybil or e-mail her.
All Saintsʻ Preschool Annual Fund Campaign
We invite all to participate in the All Saints' Preschool Annual Fund Campaign for 2015-2016; Beautiful Faces.

The Annual Fund allows the school to enrich the learning environment without increasing its operating budget, thus keeping tuition down. As in most independent schools, All Saints' Preschool's tuition alone does not cover the full cost of providing an exceptional education experience.

All Saints' relies on your annual support to augment our yearly operating budget, and to provide capital enhancements of the school's program and physical plant. 100% of your tax-deductible donation goes directly toward supporting the school's needs and vision. Among the campaign's goals is to cultivate broad support from the All Saints' Church 'Ohana.

Donations can be sent to the Church/Preschool Office or made online. For more information, visit the Annual Fund Website where you can also download a brochure or make a donation.
On-line Volunteer Sign-Ups Available Now!

Laundry Love Kauai (LLK) takes place every first and third Wednesday of the month and is in constant need of volunteers. If you'd like to volunteer, you can now sign-up on-line through the LLK webpage HERE.  Under Volunteer Service Schedules, select a service date and complete the login information that requires an e-mail address.  Not sure what role to sign up for? You can view the different responsibilities in the Operating Manual HERE. Better yet, come on down and take part as a Love Ambassador to help in different areas and see what suits you best!
Worship Enhancements Available!
Dont' forget to ask for a headset or large-print service bulletin! Both items are available through our ushers who will be more than happy to set you up!

The nursery has also been hooked up so that the service can be heard through a speaker in that room. Parents with very young children can now sit and relax with them while they play, and are also able to hear the service.

WHAT'S BEEN HAPPENING AT ALL SAINTS':
Fun Family Time at Movie Nights on the Lawn
Despite cloudy gray skies and a sprinkling or two, movie-goers turned out in force for the first of three Movie Nights on the Lawn for 2016, that featured the movies Home and Pitch Perfect 2. Families started showing up at 5:15 PM, well ahead of sunset time at 6:11 PM, to get a good spot and some great food at super prices from the concession.

This year, the Ke Akua Youth Group is being joined with the helping hands of the ECW ladies to turn out tons of $1 hot dogs, chili, Spam musubi, popcorn, loaded hot chocolate and other goodies. Nadine's ono chili sold out soon after the first show! All proceeds from the booth benefit the Ke Akua Youth Group's mission and outreach activities.

Pictured above is the large 30' inflatable screen ready to go! Be sure to come by this Saturday, October 24, and next week Friday, October 30, for two more nights of awesome movies, onolicious food, and wonderful family time together!
Sea Scouts Attend Sunday Service

This past Sunday, the Sea Scouts showed up during the second service to say thank you to the All Saints' family.  For the past several years, they have been utilizing a room in the gym at no charge, and appreciate being able to meet regularly for meetings and to conduct a variety of activities.

Sea Scouts is a specialized segment of the Venturing program of the Boy Scouts of America, which was organized to address members' boating skills and promote knowledge of our maritime heritage. For more information, visit their webpage HERE.  (Photo courtesy of Larry Richardson)
