This Saturday's Work Day Cancelled
Saturday's work day has been cancelled! Spread the word in case those without online access are aware. We will resume workdays in May. |
Visit the All Saints' Angels at Relay for Life this Weekend!
Relay for Life is finally here and our All Saints' Angels will be in full Ghostbuster gear, keeping in line with the event's 80s theme. All are invited to come by and chat, have something to eat and walk on the track. There is a line up of exciting and fun activities all night long. The walk begins with the Survivor's lap at 5:45 PM, and walking will continue throughout the night until 6:00 AM on Sunday morning.
Thanks to all of our members for their support and contributions! The youth and ECW have raised over $4,000, and will continue to raise funds at the event with Ghostly Gruel (Wayne's ono Portuguese Bean Soup), Slimer's Green Slime Delight (Lime Jell-O with marshmallows and Whipped cream), and Zuul's Zombie Loaves (Cornbread)! It's gonna be a blast with over 59 teams taking part in one of the largest Relay events on Kaua'i to date! Come on down for a wonderful time of fellowship! |

Church Member Profile Forms being Distributed
All Saints' will be updating its member profiles over the next few weeks, and this Sunday, April 26, Member Profile Update Forms will be available on a table at the entrance of the Church. The forms are already labeled with your name on the outer envelope and contains a letter from Fr. Ryan explaining the need for a comprehensive database of church members.
Be sure to pick up your form and help us save on postage. Forms that are not picked up this Sunday will be mailed out next week. Please take a moment to complete the form that will be used to update information we may already have on file, and to fill in other information that we don't have such as your contact information, birth date, baptism/confirmation dates, etc. If for some reason you do not receive a form, please let Chris Wataya know by e-mailing her, or call the office at 822-4267.
Completed forms can be dropped off at Sunday services in a specially marked box, or by dropping them off in the office. We are hoping to collect all forms by May 17, and will be holding a drawing during both services on that date from the forms turned in... and yes there will be prizes!!!

Registration now open!
May Saturday Market: Celebrating our Moms!
Get ready! May's theme is all about our moms, and vendors have been asked to create wonderful gifts for the special women in our lives!
With last year's Mother's Day craft fair success by the Ke Akua Youth Group, we are expecting a record turnout for May's Saturday Market and Swap Meet! Although this year's event is under the market and not the youth group, the set-up will be similar.
Registration for vendors is now open and is quickly booking up. The special layout for this market will include limited space under the church's tent and covered lanai areas. We expect to book up with 50+ vendors, so register early! For more information, click on the flyer shown, or visit the webpage HERE.

Organ Committee Seeks Members
All Saints' is officially establishing an Organ Committee to study the feasibility of rebuilding the organ and enhancing our worship space to accommodate first-class church music for decades to come. The committee will shepherd the project's vision, the parameters of the work, and the oversight of the work moving forward (if we proceed). Morris Wise has agreed to serve as the "convener" of the inaugural meeting of the Organ Committee which is scheduled for Sunday, April 26, from 11:30am - 1:00pm.
Any member of our 'ohana is eligible to attend and serve on the committee. The organ project is not just about rebuilding a musical instrument and enhancing our worship environment, it is an opportunity to cultivate a legacy that will have a profound impact on future generations of our 'ohana. If you have any questions, please speak to Fr. Ryan. |
Save the Date!
'Aha Mele Concert on Saturday, May 17
The next 'Aha Mele Concert will be taking place on Saturday, May 17, from 4:00 - 5:00 PM. This concert will feature the vocals of Morris Wise, and Hank Curtis on the piano. The concert is part of an awareness campaign about Kauai's only true pipe organ, and what needs to be done in order to salvage it. The concert is free, donations to the organ fund will be accepted. Stay tuned for more details. |
April Special Collections for Hale Ho'omalu
During the month of April, the ladies of the ECW will be making a special collection of instant oatmeal (packets), peanut butter, jelly and crackers, for Hale Ho'omalu , a family services center located a half-block away from the church. Donations of canned and packaged goods are always welcome as well as monetary gifts. All donations can be left in the red wagon at the church entrance every Sunday.

Fourth Sunday of Easter
O God, whose Son Jesus is the good shepherd of your people; Grant that when we hear his voice we may know him who calls us each by name, and follow where he leads; who, with you and the Holy Spirit, lives and reigns, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
