All Saints' Holiday Craft Fair
Early Bird Registration Starting September 1

This year's Holiday Craft Fair will be held on Saturday, December 6, and early notices will be going out to all past vendors by e-mail on September 1. We expect spaces to fill up quickly, so register online early and take advantage of the early bird discount that ends on October 15. Regular contributing church members qualify for one free space in the craft fair, but must utilize a special code to receive this.  Please e-mail Sybil or call her for the code before registering online.

With over 70 booth spaces, the craft fair is the youth group's largest fundraiser of the year with proceeds from the food booth and booth spaces going directly to their outreach and mission work. Last year's very successful Silent Auction raised over $900 that went to the Episcopal Relief and Development's fund for victim's of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. This year, the youth have chosen the following charities for their silent auction proceeds:  The Red Cross, River of Life Mission (Honolulu) and the American Cancer Society (Relay for Life).

WHAT'S BEEN HAPPENING AT ALL SAINTS':
Heavy Lifting at Work Day

This past Saturday's work day took advantage of the trucks, strong men and youth that showed up to help clean and organize different areas of the church property. Along with the "regulars" that turn up faithfully, windows were cleaned, floors vacuumed, and tons of items were sorted and then taken to the dump or donated to various thrift stores, leaving the upstairs gym rooms neat and tidy! In the church, John Hanaoka and David Crocker and Steve Bauman, were hard at work repairing aging doors, and assisting Fr. Ryan with the sound system, taking down old speakers and mounting the current ones on the walls.

Pictured above, the crew moves and supports pew fronts from the Rectory garage, while driver Fay Hanaoka carefully made her way to the gym where they were safely stored under the stage area. Mahalo to everyone who showed up and worked so hard! Work days have moved to the fourth Saturdays of the month. Be sure to come on down and help keep our facilities smiling!
