Relay for Life 2014 is a SUPER WIN FOR ALL!

The All Saints' Angels did it again with another win in the Best Costume category, but more importantly, the group raised over $4,000 for the American Cancer Society. The Ke Akua Youth Group and ladies of the ECW teamed up to make a SUPER team!  This year's theme was super heroes, and youth member Grace Yatsko came up with the idea of the super hero group from the cartoon Spongebob Squarepants: The International Justice League of Super Acquaintances... they, along with an army of pink jellyfish wowed the judges!  They also served up "Krabby Patties", the famed food item in the cartoon that was actually beef or veggie sliders. Slider sales contributed to the overall fundraising effort.  It was an evening of laughter, tears, eating and fellowship as team members took shifts to walk continuously for 12-hours through the night. To view a slideshow of the event, visit the church website HERE.  Many thanks to everyone who supported this effort with purchases of luminaria, baked goods and general donations, and especially to our Ke Akua Youth Group and the ECW!  AMEN!!!
Happy Birthday Fr. Ryan!
Although a tad late, members celebrated Fr. Ryan's birthday this past Sunday after the second service.  He actually spent his birthday (April 24) in San Diego, while Erin attended a conference there, but it didn't stop All Saints' from making sure his special day didn't go unnoticed.  Lots of delicious potluck dishes and cake rounded out the day.  Pictured above is Fr. Ryan with Senior Warden Janet Wilson and Rev. Mary. (Photos contributed by Janet Wilson)
