COME ON DOWN THIS SATURDAY &
SUPPORT THE BATTLE AGAINST CANCER!
Relay for Life is this Saturday, May 3 & 4!!!
Over $4,000 raised so far!!!
It's finally here! The American Cancer Society's Relay for Life will be taking place this Saturday & Sunday, May 3 & 4, next to the Hanapepe Stadium. Be sure to come by and hang out with the team as they walk for the fight against cancer from 6:00 pm - 6:00 am. Come eat, walk, talk and just have a great time in fellowship for a bit or all night! This year's theme for the All Saints' Angels is from the cartoon Spongebob Squarepants as the International Justice League of Super Acquaintances battling cancer! The booth will be transformed into Bikini Bottom, serving up "Krabby Patties" (actually beef and vegetarian sliders) and the team will be decked out in full costume! Don't miss it!!! Pictured above is last year's team as the Avengers, that won the trophy for the best "lap" dance!
One of the most touching and beautiful moments of the evening is the lighting of the luminarias. All Saints' will have over 100 bags to light, decorated with the names of loved ones that have either died from cancer, survived cancer, or are battling cancer. The walk around the track of luminarias can be an emotional and overwhelming time for many, but the symbolism of walking in the darkness of cancer until the hopeful rays of light in the morning is what keeps people returning year after year, especially those that have been touched by cancer.
Thanks to the hard work of the Ke Akua Youth Group and ECW, and the generosity and support of all of our members and visitors, we have raised over $4,000 so far. Proceeds from the sale of the sliders will also add to that. This is a record setting amount! Thank you to all!!!

Happy Birthday Fr. Ryan!!!
Potluck this Sunday, May 4, after second service
There will be a potluck coffee hour after the second service this Sunday to celebrate Fr. Ryan's birthday! Although his birthday was actually on April 24, birthday wishes had to be sent long distance. He was with Erin in San Diego who was attending a medical conference. We're certainly glad to have them both back, and I'm sure their three furry "children" will agree!

Celebrating our Members:
The Kaua'i Regional Confirmation Ceremony
Despite a rather gloomy day, nothing could dampen the spirits of our members who were recently confirmed and received into the Episcopal Church. The annual Regional Confirmation Ceremony took place on Saturday, April 26, at Christ Memorial Episcopal Church in Kilauea. The "cozy" church was filled with a lot of All Saints' members, families and relatives, including some in the outdoor tent. All Saints' had six youth that were confirmed and two received by Bishop Bob. Pictured above with the Bishop are the newly confirmed, (from left) Reis Nakamura, Braden Tabura, Mason Tabura, Cassie Wilson, Eryn Yamashiro and Daileen Barton. In the back row are Joe Adorno and Kent Frank who were received. Congratulations to all!
A slide show highlighting All Saints' member can now be found on the All Saints' website HERE or on Facebook. To view more photos, visit the diocesan website HERE.

'Aha Mele: Benefit Concert for the Pipe Organ
Sunday, June 8, 2014
The first meeting to discuss the repair and preservation of our beautiful pipe organ has taken place, and plans for a series of benefit concerts to raise awareness and funding is in full swing!
'Aha Mele, the name for the concert series, will begin with its first concert on Sunday, June 8, from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m., in the church. Although outdoor seating for the concert is free, tickets will be sold for a pre-concert reception beginning at 2:00 p.m,. along with reserved indoor seating for $50.00. Our organ expert, Morris Wise, will be donating his gourmet cakes and pastries for the reception, and there will be other refreshments and beverages.
The first concert will feature the Al'i Strings, and we are actively seeking up to 3 additional musicians or groups to take part. We also welcome members to join the committee to help make this a wonderful event for the entire community. If you are interested in helping, please e-mail the church office so that you can be included in updates and communication. Stay tuned for more information and ticket sales!
