It's not too late to drop off items to sell!
Baked goods, produce & plants are welcome too!
The Ke Akua Youth Group will be holding a rummage sale on Saturday, February 22, from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm. They are fundraising for the triennial Episcopal Youth Event (EYE) and Urban Mission taking place this July in Philadelphia.
The youth group is also planning to have a food booth with a bake sale. Produce, plants, fruit and baked goods will be welcomed! Proceeds from the bake sale will go towards the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life, which they will be participating in along with the ECW in May.
The youth will be "overnighting" Friday as they set up and sort everything, so feel free to drop off your items Friday afternoon and into the evening. For more information, e-mail Sybil.
Be sure to get your car washed while shopping and eating!  The Kapa'a High School Interact Club will be holding a car wash fundraiser at the same time at Sloggett. Several of our youth group members (including Interact President Cassidy Yatsko) will be doing double duty at the rummage sale and car wash!
Casey in New York with EYE'14 Planning Team
Please keep youth member Casey Nakamura in your prayers as she meets with the planning team for the Episcopal Youth Event (EYE'14) through the weekend. Dad Galen reports that "Casey arrived safely in NYC to a relatively balmy 47 degrees."  (She is pictured above, third row, in New York with her planning team as posted on the EYE Facebook page 02/21/2014.)

EYE'14 is the largest youth event in The Episcopal Church that occurs every 3 years, and Casey was one of fourteen teens selected to be on the planning team. Including Casey, All Saints' will have a total of 7 youth representing Hawai'i in Philadelphia this July.... be sure to support their fund raising efforts this Saturday!!!

Mark Your Calendars!
Lenten Program & Holy Week Schedule Announced
2014 Lent Holy Week
Beginning in March, there will be a variety of different formation programs and sessions being offered right here at All Saints'! Be sure to mark your calendars for these great opportunities to grow in your faith and understanding of what it means to be a Christian, and how to become an active disciple. Click on the picture above to view these programs and the schedule for Holy Week.

If you are interested in becoming baptized or confirmed, or just learning more about it, please let Fr. Ryan know. Although baptisms can occur throughout the year (with Easter being a popular time), preparation for confirmation usually takes place over the course of several weeks leading up to the annual Regional Confirmation Ceremony with Bishop Fitzpatrick. This year's ceremony will be on Saturday, April 26. Reaffirmations and Receptions also occur at the Confirmation Ceremony.  For a quick rundown on what these different sacraments mean, visit the All Saints' website HERE.

2013 relay late group

To help raise funds, part of the proceeds from the food booth/bake sale for the Rummage Sale on February 22, (see earlier above) will be going to Relay. We will also be selling luminarias in the coming months.  If you'd like to donate online, you can visit our team page HERE.  Shout out to Fr. Seventh Sunday after the Epiphany
O Lord, you have taught us that without love whatever we
do is worth nothing; Send your Holy Spirit and pour into our
hearts your greatest gift, which is love, the true bond of peace
and of all virtue, without which whoever lives is accounted
dead before you. Grant this for the sake of your only Son
Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy
Spirit, one God, now and for ever.
