Church Vision & Leadership Presentation
Friday, January 31
In partnership with the Episcopal Churches on Kaua'i and the Diocese of Hawai'i, a presentation on Church Vision and Leadership will be taking place at St. Michael's, on Friday, January 31. The event will begin with a fellowship hour at 5:30 pm, followed by the program from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
Leading this presentation is the Rev. Bill Tully, church visionary and retired rector of St. Bartholomew's in New York City. During his tenure, he transformed St. Bart's from a struggling congregation of a few hundred to over 3,000. He opened a cafe, 10-bed shelter, food pantry and soup kitchen that serves over 80,000 meals to the needy annually.

For more info, visit the event listing HERE. If you have any questions or are interested in attending, please see or e-mail Fr. Ryan.

YOUTH: BRING YOUR RELEASE FORMS THIS SUNDAY!
Deadline is Monday, January 20!!!

EYE'14 UPDATE: Delegation selected
The Diocese of Hawai'i recently selected the high school youth that will be representing Hawai'i at the triennial Episcopal Youth Event taking place this summer in Philadelphia.

As you may know, our very own Casey Nakamura was selected to be on the planning team, and has already made a couple of trips to the mainland as they prepare for the largest youth event of the Episcopal Church. They will also be participating in the 3 Days of Urban Mission in Philadelphia following the conference.

All Saints' is pleased to have six youth (not including Casey) who applied and were selected.  They are: Alanna Bauman, Noah LaMadrid, Mason Tabura, Cassie Wilson, Cassidy Yatsko, and Grace Yatsko. They will be actively fundraising to help pay for the trip which is estimated to be about $1,700 - $2,000 per person.

Sybil Nishioka is the logistics coordinator for the Diocese who will be making the travel arrangements and itinerary, and will also be a chaperone along with Fr. Ryan. Congratulations to our youth!

The Diocese of Hawai'i announces its new website!

If you haven't been to the Diocese of Hawai'i's website recently, be sure to check it out HERE. After nearly 2 years with the previous web host, the switch was made to a more user-friendly provider called Weebly. All churches that were connected with the previous host, will now have until March 31 to switch over including All Saints'. Aside from a few design elements, the site is basically the same and is at the same web address. Be sure to stay informed with what's happening around the Diocese, and sign up for the E-News HERE.
