Sharing Our Joy: Ingathering & Potluck
This Sunday, November 10!
On Sunday, November 10, we will not only celebrate All Saints' Day, but there will be a special 2014 Pledge Ingathering at both services. If you have not already turned in your Joy or pledge cards, you can bring them to this service. A festive potluck on the lawn will follow the 9:30 service, Sharing our Joy and praising God for all the blessings in our lives! Bring your favorite dish to share.
If you missed out on the wonderful Sharing Our Joy video put together by Fr. Ryan, it is now posted on our website HERE. Be sure to view it and catch a glimpse of how All Saints' has brought joy to some of our members!

Picture of the Week:
Happy Birthday Aunty Chris!
The preschool students surprised Aunty Chris with a special birthday surprise and gift on Thursday, November 7. Chris had originally planned to take her birthday off, but had to fly to O'ahu earlier in the week for emergency surgery on her eye. Like a trooper, she came in anyway to catch up on things... despite still recovering from her medical procedure! God bless you Chris!!!

Only a few more days to order a shirt!
The Diocese of Hawai'i has made available a uniquely Hawaiian Episcopal t-shirt that will raise money to help the EYE'14 Hawai'i delegation with some of its expenses. The shirts are being offered for a limited time (only 11 days left) at a cost of only $15!
All Saints' is hoping to send several youth from its congregation, especially with one of its own on the Planning Team. Casey Nakamura just returned from a meeting in San Diego, and an update of her experience will be posted on the Diocesan website soon. In the meantime, show your support by purchasing a T-shirt that contains a listing of all the Episcopal Churches in Hawai'i on the back. To order yours today, click HERE.

Break-In At Hale Lani
It was a sad Wednesday morning when it was discovered that the gym was broken into Tuesday night, November 5. The perpetrator broke through the Lihue side storeroom on the stage. Hale Lani Christian Store was then broken into, vandalized and robbed. December marks 8 years since the store opened, first to members and special events only, and a year later to the public. In all those years, there has never been an incident like this. Although we are saddened with this event, we are grateful that no one was hurt. Please pray for this person, that he may seek help and find peace in his heart.

Proper 27
O God, whose blessed Son came into the world that he might destroy the works of the devil and make us children of God and heirs of eternal life: Grant that, having this hope, we may purify ourselves as he is pure; that, when he comes again with power and great glory, we may be made like him in his eternal and glorious kingdom; where he lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Registration Now Open for Christmas at Camp!
Attention All Middle Schoolers! This one's for YOU!
Registration is now open for the newest Diocesan youth tradition, Christmas at Camp! Join other youth in the Episcopal Diocese of Hawaii for a middle-school only event during the actual Christmas season. Don't put away your decorations or holiday spirit yet, as we gather together for a powerful but fun-filled weekend at the lodge at Camp Mokule'ia. We will spend the weekend talking about our lives, about God, and about the struggles of being a middle-schooler in today's society. We will worship together, explore our faith through art, and build a foundation for a strong relationship with each other and God.
Cost for this event is $50 for the entire weekend, and travel scholarships are available for Neighbor Island youth. Space is limited to 30 participants! For more information and to register, visit the event webpage HERE. If you have any questions, see your youth leader or priest, or contact Sarah Klitzke, Diocesan Youth Director, at (808) 536-7776 ext 309.
