Ryan airport  Aloha & Welcome Fr. Ryan!
At long last, Fr. Ryan Newman has arrived on Kaua'i and into his new home at All Saints'! Members greeted Fr. Ryan at the airport who already looked like a Kama'aina with an All Saints' T-shirt and slippahs! Everyone headed to the rectory where Janis Wright had refreshments waiting.

As you may know, the rectory has been undergoing a massive renovation, and brothers John and Jack Nakamura were still at it when Fr. Ryan arrived. Although not fully completed, the rectory dons beautiful refinished floors, completely updated bathrooms, and the kitchen, which was gutted, sports a new floor and is awaiting new cabinetry.

Fr. Ryan insisted on leaving some work for him to tackle, and has even brought over special furniture to make the current living room area into a gathering place for church meetings and activities. He can't wait for the youth to come over for a movie night!

Senior Warden Galen Nakamura invited Fr. Ryan over for a gourmet dinner prepared by Nadine, where lots of fellowship and laughter flowed.

We are so blessed to have Fr. Ryan with us and look forward to the arrival of his wife Erin and pet pups Nisha and Gilbert in a couple weeks.

Visit our Facebook page to see more photos of Fr. Ryan's first day on the Garden Island!
Be sure to join us for Fr. Ryan's first Sunday service with us on June 23, followed by a Welcome Potluck!

Mary Tudela last Sunday  Mahalo Rev. Mary!
This past Sunday, June 16, was Rev. Mary Tudela's  last Sunday service with us, and Wednesday, June 19, was her last healing service as our "temporary interim". Sunday also coincided with Father's Day, and a potluck was held following the second service to celebrate both events. We are so grateful to Rev. Mary for her guidance, love, support and healing during the past 8 months, as we awaited the coming of our new priest.  Although Episcopal Church protocol discourages visits for a period of time, we hope she will be back with us soon as an active member. Mahalo nui loa, Rev. Mary! 'Aloha 'oe, 'til we meet again!!!
